KAI67's Marble anti-ant pad (30x42 cm) is a clear hard plastic sheet printed with a marble pattern. It is designed for places where you want things to look tidy, such as a Buddha shelf (home altar) with fruit and sweet drinks offered on it, a display shelf or a coffee table. Ants going for the offerings stop at the edge of the pad, just as with the other models.
฿140 per pad, 1 pad per pack.
Is it in stock?
The Marble pad is currently temporarily out of stock both at KAI67 and at the distributor's Shopee shop. Message LINE @814ddrza to let us know you want one. Meanwhile, the Clear White model is the closest match, because it is see-through too.
How do you use it on a Buddha shelf?
Put the pad on the shelf first, then place the fruit tray, water glasses and candle holders 5 cm in from each edge of the pad. Wipe up spilled sweet drinks straight away, because sugary residue on the pad gives ants a bridge to walk across. Read more at How to use and care for an anti-ant pad
Which parts of the home does the Marble pattern suit?
The marble pattern is printed on a clear base, so the colour of the shelf or surface underneath still partly shows through. That way the pad doesn't look out of place on a dark wooden shelf, a glass display cabinet or a living-room coffee table where a plate of snacks gets left out. Most people who buy this pattern care more about looks than about spots that get messy often. If you're putting it on a kitchen floor or a pet feeding corner that gets dirty every day, a solid-colour model is easier to keep clean. On a Buddha shelf where the water and fruit are changed regularly, take the items off and wipe the pad every time you change the offerings. Marble 30x42: frequently asked questions
When will the Marble pad be back in stock?
The distributor hasn't given a date yet. Message LINE @814ddrza to put your name down and the admin will contact you when stock arrives.
Can I put candle holders or hot items on the pad?
We don't recommend putting very hot items or open flames near the pad, because it is plastic. The manufacturer says to avoid heat and strong sun.
Which colour can I use while I wait?
Clear White 30x42 at ฿140 is in stock and ready to ship, and is similarly see-through.
Can I put the pad on a wooden shelf?
Yes. It is a hard plastic sheet that lies flat on the shelf with no glue needed. Wipe the shelf dry before placing it, and lift the pad now and then to wipe underneath so dust doesn't build up.
Does the Marble pad stop ants as well as the other colours?
Yes. It is the same hard plastic sheet as the other versions; only the pattern printed on the clear base is different. Ants stop at the edge the same way, as long as you keep items 5 cm from the edge as the manufacturer advises.
Can I use it on an outdoor spirit house?
Not where it gets direct sun and rain, because the manufacturer says to avoid strong sun and moisture. If the spirit house has enough roof to keep sun and rain off, it can go there, but wipe the pad dry every time it gets wet.
